Bio

DJ DeDe (real name: Deanna Ebblewhite) is a singer-songwriter, rapper, musician and producer hailed from Nottinghamshire. She is diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy and periventricular leukomalacia (PVL).

DeDe first discovered her passion of music at seven years old, taking piano and vocal lessons in school shows and assemblies.

Her love of pop, R&B, dance and hip-hop music came from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Robyn, Elton John and Alicia Keys, whoich inspired DeDe to make her music content.

At the end of July 2020, DeDe joined the music platform Spotify and released her debut album Girl from the Valley, which includes the three singles Folklore, Pain Not Pleasure and Piece of U. Mixing lyrics about relationships, empowerment, dancing, coming-of-age and heartbreak with her vocal and production skills, DJ DeDe is in the beginning stages of becoming a famous music artist.

With her promising future as a multi-talented songstress, songwriter, instrumentalist, rapper and producer, DJ DeDe will always tell everyone in the world to "respect the spectrum."​
